Took the Shinkansen (bullet train) from Kyoto to Tokyo.  Then the Narita Express train from Tokyo to the airport.  Then the airplane to Dallas.  The sky was pouring rain the whole time I was in the train and the airport, really buckets – made me realize how lucky I was that there had been no rain at all during my days of sightseeing!
